How the live scoreboard updates
The in-app live scoreboard updates ball-by-ball as the match progresses. Each scoring event — a boundary, a wicket, a milestone — is reflected in the fantasy points column within a few seconds of the live feed. The scoreboard is the authoritative source for the contest’s current standings; a third-party cricket score site is not.
How the captain multiplier applies
The captain’s fantasy score is multiplied by 2, and the vice-captain’s by 1.5, but only at the natural close of the live match. The multiplier does not apply to intermediate totals shown on the live scoreboard — those intermediate totals reflect the raw event points, not the settled total. The settled total is what appears on the leaderboard once the match closes.
Why mid-match team edits are not supported
PlayerzPot does not support mid-match team edits. Once the toss happens, the team is locked. The reason is fairness: a team that could be edited mid-match would let a player swap out a struggling captain for an in-form player, which would invalidate every other team in the contest. The desk’s read: lock the team before the toss, then walk away until the match closes.
What the live scoreboard does not show
The live scoreboard does not show projected totals — only raw event points. It does not show a “what-if” column for an alternate captain pick. It does not show the leaderboard for any other contest tied to the same match. Each contest has its own leaderboard, and the live scoreboard reflects the contest you opened.
What we do not publish
We do not publish a guaranteed live scoreboard uptime. We do not publish a third-party cricket score feed as a PlayerzPot source — those feeds can lag the official feed by several seconds. We do not endorse a “live match predictor” tool that claims to project the settled total; the settled total is calculated only at the natural close of the match.
